              UNITS OF MEASUREMENTS

                                                                            

A unit of measurement is a definite magnitude of a quantity,defined and adopted by convention or by law, that is used as a standard for measurement of the same kind of quantity. Any other quantity of that kind can be expressed as a multiple of the unit of measurement. For example, a length is a physical quantity.There are two systems which familiar in use.They are 1.Metric system  2.Customary system

The system which is considered as a standard one all over the

 world is the METRIC SYSTEM.

The metric system uses units such as meter, liter, and gram to 

measure length, liquid volume, and mass, just as the

U.S. customary system uses feet, quarts, and ounces to measure 

these.
